A Little More About Us
VSG Co is the nonprofit arm of Vitality Safety Group. Vitality Safety Group first opened for training in October 2018, offering classes at a local community center. It was built to offer weekly classes at no cost, because of a dedicated mission to spread the knowledge of how to properly provide high-quality CPR. We call our courses Community Training because we encourage people of all ages, individuals and families alike, to join a class and train with us.
In 2019 we saw a greater need for this kind of training in our communities, which led us to partner with local Atlanta public libraries so the general public could reach our classes more easily. We went on to offer classes at public locations including the YMCA and Fulton County public libraries.
Whether or not a student becomes certified, we provide all of the course training materials to make sure every student has a successful training experience. Our classes are small, usually 3 to 8 students, so instructors can give each person real attention. As of June 2024, we had trained more than 400 students.
Vitality Safety Group is the paid service. VSG Co provides the same CPR, First Aid and AED training and certification for people who can't afford to pay.
